Album: “Hitomi No Oku No Milkyway” EP
Label: Sony Music Japan
Year: 2015
Intro
I became a fan of Flower by way of being a fan of E-Girls. I usually don’t listen to ballad groups, but there’s something about Reina’s vocals that gives me the feels. I’m pretty much kind of working backward through their discography which lands me at “Hitomi No Oku No Milkyway”.
Good
The titled song, “Hitomi No Oku No Milkyway” has to be one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard period. Reina’s voice just gives me the goosebumps, and it’s the good one. The b-side track, “Imagination”, shows that Flower can perform more fun songs and is a song I also enjoyed a lot.
Bad
Sometimes, you don’t want a good thing to end. In this case, I wanted more of Flower as I just really enjoy their music. The EP shows the more versatile side of Flower. The vocals for the different songs from Reina is just astonishing.
Overview
Although Flower has disbanded with some former members doing their own thing while some of the remaining members are just promoting under the E-Girls banner, music is forever which means I can always cherish the memories through these album releases.
