At Evolution Championship Series, the staff at Sturdy Pine not only got some great footage, but also conducted some great interviews with members of the FGC. In part 3 of our coverage, we will focus on Chris “Thrillho” Cruz’s interviews with the important figures in the awesome community.
Coming off a thrilling run being the lone American representative in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012, we were able to get an interview with EG PR Balrog. We discuss his top 4 finish, playing Infiltration, picking Balrog over Fei Long, his top 8 run in Injustice: Gods Among Us, and thoughts on Ultra Street Fighter IV.
The next interview is with EG Justin Wong. Although he didn’t win Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, he won the hearts of many people using an under utilized character in Storm to mount many comebacks. We discuss his thrilling UMvC3 run, using a team he enjoys playing over using a top tier team, why he doesn’t use Rufus in Street Fighter x Tekken, and the force known as the “Wong Factor”.
After the thrilling event of EVO 2013, we were able to do an interview with one, Seth Killian. We interviewed him about his role at Sony Santa Monica, Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, his time as community manager at Capcom, his articles on SRK, and thoughts on Ultra Street Fighter IV.
This next interview is with BT Viscant. We discuss things such as the games he was competing in, his beginnings in the FGC, his teams used in UMvC3, the hope of one day having Cyclops in UMvC3, weaknesses in his vanilla team in UMvC3 and much more.
