EXO’s “Miracles in December” review
Artist: EXO
Album: “Miracles in December”
Label: SM Entertainment
Year: 2013
Intro
I decided to get this album because I was in the Christmas spirit and for the fact that the titled track was catchy. I also wanted to see what the hype was all about because they’ve been getting so much attention since their debut.
I decided to roll this review as both KPop and CPop because it’s the same album except one’s in Chinese, and the other is in Korean.
Good
Since their debut, I didn’t come across a song that I considered decent until this one. I decided to give them a listen since I should judge groups based on their music, not on their passionate fans, choreography, or anything else.
Bad
There weren’t too many standout tracks in terms of the B side tracks. Together, they sound alright, but no particular member really stands out in terms of the voice. I am sure that all the Exotics would like to disagree with my opinions.
Overview
By getting this album, I pretty much gave up being an anti EXO fan. Before getting this album, I pretty much was on the hater bandwagon without giving them a chance musically. I would say this album whether you want the Chinese or Korean versions is that it’s a great listen especially for the holiday season.
